My Perfect Cosmetics Company Review

My Perfect Cosmetics Company Review

I was sent over a few goodies from my perfect cosmetic company to try out and review, and as a make up artist I feel my review will be an honest reliable one

I’ve been a qualified makeup artist since the age of 17, since then I have been a manger of a makeup counter in Debenhams, a freelance makeup artist and a freelance eyelash technician. So I know a little bit about what’s good and what’s not good when it comes to makeup. I personally am a full coverage kind of girl I would never go to the club wearing a light/medium coverage foundation, at one stage of my life I wouldn’t go to the corner shop without a full face and lashes but since becoming a mum I don’t really have the time and to be honest I can’t really be bothered to wear all that makeup on a normal day like doing the nursery run or going to the park or even when I’m off to do the weekly shop. So I need something fast and easy to put on.

So let’s talk about the foundation.

The foundation SMELLS SO GOOD! When I was applying the foundation to my face I just wanted to keep smelling the brush it isn’t a overpowering smell though, it’s just a nice smell , when I first put this foundation at the back of my hand before I applied it to my face I was a little bit concerned as to how it would look as it appeared way to dark for my skin colour however the foundation is a colour correcting formula meaning that once it’s on your skin and applied it adapts to the colour of your skin and by the time I started blending it into my neck it was the correct colour… AMAZING right?!this foundation is a light weight foundation, it’s light to medium coverage I can still see my freckles through it But I do have coverage over my spots and the tiny bit of dark pigmentation I have around my mouth , the foundation GLIDES on to your skin and leaves you looking like you have naturally perfect skin with a slight glow. It isn’t oily it literally feels like silk on your skin. You apply it as you would any other … clean face , creamed and with a primer on ( I recommend doing this with any foundation if you don’t)I was sent a foundation brush to use with this and honestly it feels so good on the skin which is a win win for me as some foundations feel thick and sometimes you can actually feel like your applying cement to your face.

Me with the foundation applied ( Theese are false lashes )

Now let’s move on to the mascara

The mascara is brilliant. I have always from the age of 14 had individual false lashes on and as a grown up all the glue and self ripping them out when I’m due a top up ( terrible I know ) have left my eyelashes with no hair on them and now I am basically BALD my eyelashes are hardly visible at all. all but using this mascara my eyelashes were visible , it’s so simple you apply the mascara then the fibre side and then another coat of mascara and bobs your uncle your done  your eyelashes literally double in length it’s a game changer

My eyelashes are now visible
